Furry Friends is now offering donation based basic dog and puppy training classes!
Come with your pup and get support in basic behavior and manners training for better understanding and management. This fun, informal yet informative class is designed to teach skills so YOU can have the confidence to train your dog. Sometimes we just don’t know what to do. Our training professionals can help!
Some things you will learn:
‘Who are you’- dog’s name.
‘Lassie go home’- coming when called.
‘Your place or mine’ – go to your place.
‘Chillin’ in the crib’-crate training
Just to name a few…
Please be sure to:
Bring high value delicious treats like hot dogs, chicken or soft treats cut into small pieces.
Bring a hungry dog so don’t feed before class.
Please have on a no slip martingale style collar and a 4 to 6 ft leash.
When in class please set your dog up for success by not allowing dogs to greet each other. We can teach that in another class.
This class is for basic behavior modification. It is not intended for animals with intense reactivity. One-on-one sessions can be scheduled for more serious behavior issues.
Schedule:
Classes run for 45 minutes each hour. Register below, space is limited.
